Burdett park in Evansville Indiana
Reviewed 08/30/2019
We had the pleasure to spend a week at Burdett Park in Evansville Indiana last summer. Burdett Park is located just outside of Evansville, about a 10 minute drive
do the center of downtown. Close enough you can get what you need in town, yet still out in the quite country. The management is a pleasure to work with. Be aware
during season, you would be smart to call early and not wait until the last minute. The facilities were well kept. Unfortunately the pool was drained for maintenance
and was not available. There is one very sharp turn, so if you have a long RV, please let the staff know when you call and they will help you use the other way, there are
three roads and you can navigate around the sharp corner, otherwise, all the spots are easy to get to. We cannot stress how much we enjoyed the park!
Burdett park webpage is http://burdettepark.org/campground-rv-park/ Will give you current rates and number
of sites. Burdett part offers so many amenities, there are lodges for rent, there is an aquatics center, there are day use spots. When we were there, there was primitive
(tent) sites. We had water, electricity, and sewer; although there were a few sites which did not offer sewer, but there was a central sewer dump.
We had family functions in Kentucky and Evansville and this made a great point of operation for the week. Only on hour to Madisonvill, Ky.
2021 we called and left multiple messages(7), to book a week, but nobody every returned our calls. We do not know if this park is still open.
